Due to a shortage of volunteers nationally there are many young people waiting to join the Scouts in the UK.
In Icknield District , Scouting is thriving and while some of our Groups have waiting lists, many can take youngsters into some/all sections immediately.
Make contact your local Groups as soon as possible to get a good picture of the joining procedure.
All of our Scout Groups welcome additional adult help (and for Squirrels, they may insist on a parent staying with their child)
They will also welcome help behind the scenes, with the admin, with the premises and as trustees
Whatever your skills and availability, there will be some way you can contribute, meaning even more young people get #SkillsForLife.
